The hottest trend right now that you’re probably seeing everywhere are High Waisted Tie Pants also known as “Paper Bag” Pants. This is a trend that I was unsure of just looking at them on the rack, but once you put them on you realize they are totally different than you thought!
They look so great on and are flattering for all body types. The high waist cinch gives the illusion of a small waistline and also elongates the legs! I think this is the cutest look and not only are they stylish, but they are super comfortable.
In addition, the loose fit style is so comfortable, yet has a dressier look to them because of the tie waistline… and….the high waist also allows you to bend over without always pulling up your pants!
What to Wear with High Waisted Tie Pants
Always wear a shirt tucked in or at least a slightly more form fitting top. A long or loose top won’t go well with high waisted pants. You want to show off the waistline so be sure to tuck that shirt in especially if it’s a loose fit!
The nice thing is that you can wear any type of shoes with these pants because they are so versatile.
Sandals, espadrilles, ankle booties, open toe booties, pumps and sneakers all pair well with this look. You can get so many different outfits out of these pants and easily transition from day to night with a simple change of shoes.
They can be worn for a bridal shower, night out, baby shower, to the office, a casual day outing, date night, graduation parties etc. Options are endless…

Okay , so you girls are loving these Express Tie Waist Ankle Pants! I went to try them on, but they were out of my size. I squeezed into a smaller size so you could at least get an idea of how they look.
I absolutely love them. They are really beautiful and so flattering. I can’t recommend these enough!
I paired them with my Anne Klein pumps, but these will go with any heel, sandal or even low tennis shoes(these target white sneakers I recently bought go great with everything).
